The meeting of the JCP was presided over by Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani and was also attended by Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Heritage Pervaiz Rashid – who also holds an additional charge of the ministry of law and justice commission, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervaiz Khattak, Attorney Gerneral Munir A. With induction of Justice Khan as a SC judge, the total number of the apex court judges, including Chief Justice Jillani, has reached seventeen.
