ISLAMABAD: The capital police on Saturday arrested two suspected terrorists from Islamabad and foiled a major bid of terrorism, DawnNews reported.

On receiving tip-off about the suspects’ whereabouts, police conducted investigations and arrested the suspects from the remit of the Sihala police station in the federal capital.

The suspects were said to hail from the region of Azad Kashmir.

Police recovered 36 hand-grenades, five kilograms of explosives, detonators and other weapons from the suspects.

Meanwhile, police also registered a case against the suspected terrorists under Section 144.
