KARACHI, Dec 15: Defending champions Essa Lab ‘A’ cruised into the last eight, inflicting a 3-1 defeat on Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Complex ‘B’ 3-1 in the men’s team event first round of Karachi Table Tennis Championships which commenced at Islamia Club’s Majeed Khan gymnasium on Sunday.

Seven other teams also stormed into quarters including DHA ‘A’, PSO, Islamia Club ‘A’, SSB Complex ‘B’, Aga Khan, Hassanabad Club and Islamia Club ‘B’, who got a walkover against Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL).
