President attends cultural show

LONDON, June 19: President Gen Pervez Musharraf attended a cultural show “Rhythms of the Indus” in London on Wednesday.

The president was the guest of honour of the show at the Royal Albert Hall, which was attended by a large number of overseas Pakistanis from across the United Kingdom and other Asian nationals, who were entertained by Pakistani folk and pop singers.

The fund raised through the cultural show would go to charities both in Pakistan and the UK.

The show was jointly organized by Pakistan High Commission in collaboration with “Best Way” Group’s owner Sir Anwar Pervez, — a Pakistani-born businessman.
