HYDERABAD, June 16: Sindh Auqaf Secretary Faseehuddin has suspended the manager of the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, Maqsood Ahmad Baig, and assistant manager Maqbool Ahmad Baloch.
The secretary, posing as a common man, paid a surprise visit to the shrine in Sehwan on Sunday.
He found that only two of 70 Khadmeen of the shrine were present who were collecting money from Zaireen and were not depositing the amount in safe boxes of the shrine. He also found some private persons collecting money at Alam Pak, Golden Gate and other places.
