2,700kg drugs seized

QUETTA, June 14: The Anti-Narcotics Force on Friday seized around 2,700Kg of hashish and opium in Kharan, however, no smuggler was arrested.

Sources said the ANF staff raided a place in the desert on the basis of a tip-off and seized about 2,000kg of hashish and 700kg of opium. The men guarding the consignment escaped when the ANF helicopter landed, they said.—Correspondent
