ISLAMABAD, June 14 :The Senate chairman, Muhammadmian Soomro and Deputy chairman, Khalilur Rehman, have expressed their deep sense of grief over the sad demise of veteran politician and former caretaker prime minister, Malik Meraj Khalid.

In their separate messages of condolence, both Mr Soomro and Mr Rehman paid tributes to the valuable services rendered by Malik Meraj Khalid and observed that the country had lost a great statesman, a seasoned politician and a man of integrity who relentlessly worked for the promotion of education in the country.

Leader of the House in Senate, Wasim Sajjad also exp-ressed deep shock and sor-row over the sad demise of veteran politician, intellectual and former caretaker Prime Minister.

In his condolence message he paid rich tribute to the deceased for rendering great services to the nation.
