LAHORE, June 13: The preliminary round of the Punjab Inter-district hockey championship will be held at four different cities from July 1.

Two top teams of each centre will qualify for the main round.

At Narowal, the districts Sialkot, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Faisalabad, Jhang, Okara and Gujranwala will take part.

 Similarly, Vehari will be the host where Khanewal, Sahiwal, Multan, Pakpattan, Khushab, Sargodha and Mianwali will feature in the preliminary round.

Khanpur is another venue where the districts Rahimyar Khan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Sheikhupura, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal and Rawalpindi will play.

Dera Ghazi Khan is the fourth station where Rajanpur, Muzafargarh, Lodhra, Toba Tek Singh, Kasur, Bhakhar and Lahore will play.
