BAHAWALPUR, June 13: Four members of a Tableeghi Jamaat were killed while 14 others injured, three of them grievously, in a road accident near Chak 26/BC, about 15 kilometres from here, on Friday.

According to reports, at least 20 members of the jamaat were on their way to Mauza Khairpur Tamewali by a wagon when it skidded off the road and rammed against a tree.

Three of the wagon occupants, identified as Naseer, Fazal Haq and Arshad, died on the spot while Bilal succumbed to injuries at hospital. Of the 14 injured, three were admitted to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital in critical condition.

Abbasnagar police have registered a case against the absconding driver. — Correspondent
