JACOBABAD, June 10: A no-confidence move was tabled on Tuesday against the Naib Nazim, Union Council-2, Mohammad Ali Lashari.

The move was tabled by councillors Muneer Ahmed Qureshi and Maula Bux.

The session was attended by 15 council members and the move was passed by 13 members.

The councillors alleged that the Naib Nazim did not come up to the expectations of the people, no development work was done during his tenure, and he was involved in granting concessions and contracts to his favourites.

The Naib Nazim said that he was removed illegally, and added that he would challenge the decision in the court of law.
