ISLAMABAD, Nov 24: The capital police arrested 110 suspects in different localities and slum areas mostly inhabited by Afghan nationals on Sunday.

A police spokesman said teams from different police stations conducted a search operation in Shakrial, Zia Masjid and Changar Colony in Rawat and arrested the suspects.

The police also recovered 40 motorbikes, four cars, two computers, 150 bottles of liquor, two 30-bore pistols with ammunition, charas and heroin from the possession of the arrested people.

SP investigation Mohammad Ilyas directed all heads of the police stations to continue the operation and ensure protection to the lives and property of the citizens.
