LAHORE, Nov 8: The Punjab government on Friday posted Mayo Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Zahid Pervaiz as director general health.
The post had been lying vacant in the wake of suspension of former DG Dr Tanvir Ahmad on Oct 14.
The health department recommended in a summary to the chief minister three doctors of the administrative cadre to fill the post — DG Khan Division Health Services Director Dr Shahid Bhatti, Mayo MS Dr Zahid Pervaiz and Punjab Health Services Director Dr Zafar Ikram. — Staff Reporter
