PESHAWAR, June 5: Forty-six criminals and 795 outlaws allegedly involved in cases of murder, kidnapping for ransom and robbery were arrested in different localities of the city in May, a press release said.

The police caught 216 persons for possessing illicit arms and recovered 27 Kalashnikovs, 4 Kalakovs, 13 rifles, 29 shotguns, 10 hand-grenades, 166 pistols and 4,864 cartridges.

Cases were registered against 513 persons charged with drug trafficking.
