KOHAT, Oct 24: The district development advisory committee approved Rs30 million for various projects in a meeting here on Thursday.

It directed the departments concerned to prepare the PC-Is of these projects within a week and report to the local government office, Peshawar.

The DDAC meeting chaired by MPA Ziaullah Bangash identified the projects in all the three provincial constituencies where street pavements and roads would be constructed. In the constituency of Deputy Speaker Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi 10 transformers would be installed in Shakardarra urban and rural areas. Water pumps would also be dug in the area.

Of the total funds, Rs10 million would be spent in PF-38 constituency of Mr Bangash on water supply, sanitation and pavement of streets. He had allocated Rs4.5 million for his village, Mohammadzai.

In PF-37 constituency of advisor to chief minister, Amjid Ali Khan, Rs10 million would be spent on roads and drainage system in Sheikh Allahdad, Togh-1 and Togh-2.
