LAHORE, Oct 20: Funeral prayers of renowned singer Zubaida Khanum were offered near her residence in West Wood Colony, Raiwind, on Sunday.

Prominent names from film and television as well as people from different walks of life attended the funeral. Zubaida Khanum’s son Faisal Bokhari is also part of the film fraternity.

Besides film technicians, among the popular personalities who were present were film director Syed Noor, writer Pervaiz Kaleem, director Masood Butt, producer Ijaz Kamran, actor Ijaz Durrani, TV and film artist Irfan Khoosat and director Altaf Hussain.

Khanum was laid to rest in Miani Sahib Graveyard beside her husband Riaz Bokhari.

Her Soyem will be held at 2pm on Monday (today) at her residence.
