SIALKOT, June 3: Teachers from all over the country will stage a sit-in in front of Parliament House in Islamabad on Wednesday (today) on the call of Muttahida Mahaz Asatiza Pakistan.
The teachers have planned the sit-in to press the government to accept their eight-point charter of demands, says a press release issued here on Tuesday by Mahaz provincial secretary information Abdul Rashid Nagra.
MEDICAL CAMP: An Australian NGO has donated Rs3 million to the health department for the establishment of a permanent free medical camp at the Shakargarh THQ hospital.

DOWERY STOLEN: Thieves took away the dowry of two orphan girls from their house in Marduwal village (Noorkot), Shakargarh tehsil of Narowal district on Monday night.

SUSPENDED: The Sialkot District Police Officer has suspended from service Motra police station’s Sub-Inspector Rana Aslam, Muharrar Abid, Naib Muharrar Muhammad Afzal and City Daska police station’s ASI Khalid Warraich on charge of negligence of duty.
The SP (headquarters) has also started a probe against the suspended policemen on corruption charges.
