Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi in hospital

LAHORE, June 1: Octogenarian poet, story writer and journalist Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi was admitted to the Jinnah Hospital on Saturday with a breathing problem.

Mr Qasmi felt the problem on Friday afternoon and was taken to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology. But, after a through checkup, PIC doctors declared that his heart function was normal and asthmatic attack was the reason for breathing irregularity.

On Saturday, Mr Qasmi was taken to Jinnah Hospital where his condition was stated to be improving.
