DEVELOPMENT is a positive thing which changes the living standards. But when development work progresses at a slow pace, it turns into a headache and becomes a nuisance for the public.

Quetta has myriad of problems because of development work. Road construction has been started, but the slow process of work is resulting in various problems for the people. During school and office hours, vehicles move at a snail’s pace.

In various parts of the city the provincial government has started construction with a view to widening the roads, which is a positive move.

This results in a lot of dust in the air which is threatening the health of the people. There has been an increase in the patients of dust allergy, throat and asthma.

The authorities concerned should complete road construction and other development works as soon as possible so that the public could get rid of traffic and other issues.
