Five-year-old raped in Lahore by unidentified men

LAHORE: A five-year-old girl was left outside Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Lahore on Friday after being brutally raped by unidentified men.

The girl had been reported missing on Thursday evening.

She was provided immediate emergency aid by the hospital staff before being shifted to Services Hospital.

According to doctors and staff, the five-year-old is being kept under strict observation.

A rape case has been registered in the Mughalpura Police Station against unknown suspects.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and issued orders for the immediate arrest of the suspects.

They will put her in jail accordingly with Hudood Ordinance if she cannot provide four witnesses saying that it was a rape.

I am sure perpetrators are either RAW or CIA agents working hard to malign good name of Pakistan. Furthermore, no Muslim can do such an inhuman act.

Curse of God on those who did this brutality to a 5 year innocent child who even didn't know what was going on with her. Shameless are those who should curse on themselves what they did to this child. Well a five year old gets raped and dumped, these criminals should be hanged in public to deter the ones who get unreported.........Allah save humanity...Ameen.. Lets see if this case is taken up by the politician and the ones protects its citizen......for once lets not excited about the flotation of PIA but use that funds for law and order which is bismal

Shame on us if we deny the poor girl justice by refusing to acknowledge people can be beastly -yes that includes usPakistanis - the man who drowned his dughter was not a RAW or CIA agent. At least India was rocked by protests and sentences were carried out.Our conscience seems to be dead.

I hate to say it but I wonder if this crime was perpetrated by the victim's own relatives. Who else would have had access to a 5-year-old Pakistani girl? Or maybe neighbors? Whoever did this must be caught and punished. There is no excuse for this sort of action.

@imran bhatt: Not sure if sarcastic or actually serious. If it's the former then the joke was really in bad taste, mate. I'm not one to support the death penalty other than in the case of terrorists but I really feel we should follow India and Bangladesh's example in the cases of rape and acid-throwing on women. Sometimes you really need to draw a line to have justice and incur positive change in society. I hope that the girl and her family get the strength to recover from this ordeal.

shahbaz sharif agar ap ko waqai uss bachi se hamdardi hai to phir mujrimo ko pakar ker sar e aam phansi do ya goli maro takey agay se koi asa hewan bannay se pehley 10 bar sochay. sirf ayadat kerney se ya a ker afsos kerney se kuch nai hota.

I am also a guy, and being a guy, I dont how can any guy even contemplate to act this way, its impossible for a normal person to even think about committing this act no matter how much revenge he has in mind or whatsoever. Its a shame that such things happen around us. This act can safely be attributed to a disturbed mindset. I hope the culprits are made to suffer the excruciating pain which the girl and her family faced. Insha Allah.

The sad part is that whenever someone tries to exact these punishments to the wrong doers the so called liberals start nametagging us of inhumanity and cruelty. Now see the result of mocking the commandments of Allah that there is death and destruction everywhere.

Unfortunately I see no further coverage on this issue. Are the police issuing Press releases on their follow up to this terrible crime. Is the Media pressing the Police for Press releases. I would suggest this crime be covered on Dawn TV too, to create awareness and a sense of urgency in finding the criminals.

@Ali: Most people in Muslim countries have very little understanding of psychiatric illnesses even though it Is in a way no different in neighbouring countries . The rapists do attempt such crimes be ause of sick perverted minds. Such behaviour exists in ALL societies , West or East. It needs lots of understanding and complex and concerted to control and treat these mentally sick persons. Hanging few in he public is not going o Chang this sick behaviour.

If I was the Chief Minister of Punjab, I would put a stop watch outside my office and it will continue to run till such time the culprits are arrested. This is not a crime, this is a barbaric act. I would have ensured that I personally oversee the operation as if it was my own daughter. Is our society completely dead morally? No, no, no. We are still alive. Insha Allah I am hopeful these barbarians will be caught. I just hope they bleed to death publicly. Please show us a clear photo of the man caught on tape.
