HYDERABAD, Sept 12: Hyderabad beat Badin by 391 runs on Wednesday at the Niaz Stadium on the third day of a three-day match of Regional Inter-district Senior Cricket Tournament as Nasir Awais claimed 10 wickets in the match while four Hyderabad players hit some fine centuries to keep their side in commanding position.

Hyderabad scored 357-7 in the allotted 83 overs and later declared their first innings as Shoaib Laghari hit 107 with 16 boundaries and one six.

Faisal Athar made 68 with five boundaries and Mir Ali Talpur made 62 with seven boundaries and a six. Nasir Awais remained not out at 54 with five boundaries to the fence and two sixes.

Kamran Nizamani captured 3-93 and Zeeshan Gul 2-88. Visitors were all out for 127 off just 38.2 overs. Zeeshan and Sarfaraz played with some confidence, hitting 45 and 37 runs respectively. Nasir Awais took four wickets for 27 and Abdul Wajid 3-8. Mir Ali Talpur also grabbed 2-39.

Hyderabad piled up 384-6 in the second innings in 64.2 overs thanks to three fine centuries by Mir Darya, Faisal Athar and Shabih Haider.

Athar was retired hurt at 106. His innings was laced with 15 boundaries and two sixes while Darya made 100 with nine boundaries and one six off 147 balls.

Shabih Haider remained unbeaten with 100 consisting of 11 boundaries and a six. Mir Ali Talpur scored an unbeaten 50. Aslam Sattar got 2-116.

Badin were dismissed for 223 in 61 overs as Zeeshan Gul made 89 and Zeeshan Ali Shah (70) with six boundaries and three sixes. Nasir Awais grabbed 6-91 and Abdul Wajid got 3-27 to help Hyderabad register a massive win.
