KARACHI, Sept 12: The trials to select Under-12, U-14 and U-16 hockey teams for boys as well as girls will be held at the Olympian Islahuddin-Dr Mohammad Ali Shah Hockey Academy on Saturday and Sunday.

Trials for boys will be held at 3.30pm on Saturday while for the girls they will be held at the same time on Sunday.

Islahuddin, the chairman of the academy, said these are open trials for kids of five years and above. “All school and college students are encouraged to appear for the trials. The teams will be selected by ex-Olympians who will also be coaching the players at the academy,” he said.

Interested players are advised to report to Islahuddin on the said days and must bring along a white shirt and a coloured shirt at the academy ground at North Nazimabad. Block-H, Near Landi Kotal Chowrangi.
