PESHAWAR, May 29: The provincial education department on Tuesday suspended services of six members of the staff for their negligence in protecting official record in the directorate of education.

They  are: superintendents Ishrat Abbas and Mohammad Tayyab, stenographer Almas Khan, assistant Shahzad Gul, senior clerk Muneer Khan and junior clerk Karnal Wahab, says a notification.

The department has also ordered an inquiry into the flow of water inside the directorate and damage to the record.
