EVER since the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) has announced taking Combined Competitive Examinations, aspiring yet industrious candidates are making all efforts to do their best in the upcoming Combined Competitive Examinations.

While these candidates are busy in their preparation for this highly competitive examinations, some apprehensions and questions have surfaced about its transparency, fairness and possible interference by politicians to influence the process.

Will it be a transparent and merit-based exam?

However, I urge the authorities concerned, the media, civil society and others to please keep an eye on the whole process and play their role in ensuring that everything is handled and practised with sheer honesty, integrity and fairness so that meritorious candidates do not fall victim to possible nepotism and favouritism.
