KARACHI: Seven Haqiqi men held

KARACHI, May 26: Police rounded up at least seven activists of Mohajir Qaumi Movement from different parts of Landhi on Monday.

A spokesman for the MQM said seven party workers were taken into custody by police during nightlong raids in different parts of Landhi.

The activists are mostly in their early 20s and were taken to undisclosed locations. Later they were lodged at different police stations of Landhi town.

Unknown persons attacked the residence of vice chairman of Mohajir Qaumi Movement Badar Iqbal in sector 36-B and warned the family to leave the house.
