Ammar shines

KARACHI, July 29: Sindh Police, inspired by Ammar Hasan’s unbeaten 59, beat Sakhi Hasan Gymkhana by six wickets in the first Mehman-e-Ramazan T20 cricket tournament at the KCCA Stadium here the other day.

Chasing 147, Sindh Police reached their target in 17.1 overs with Ammar striking four fours and one six.

In another match, Karachi Shark CC thrashed Late Ismail Jaffer CC by 10 wickets to reach the quarter-finals.

Salman Fareed bagged four wickets for only eight runs to send Late Ismail Jaffer crashing to 46 all out in the 14th over. Karachi Shark CC got the required runs in just 3.3 overs with Kamran Ibrahim making an undefeated 29.
