KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) Rabita (Coordination) Committee on Sunday, suspended the membership of former MNA Shamim Siddiqui as well as membership of UK activist Muhammad Ahsan, on grounds of receiving complaints of discipline violations, DawnNews reported.

The final decision to end their memberships or restore them would be taken in light of further investigations.

The Rabita Committee also said that it has no connection to any of the business matters either of them are involved in and does not take any responsibility either.
