PESHAWAR, May 11: Two persons were killed, a teenager was kidnapped, and a motorbike was snatched at gunpoint in different incidents in and around the city, police sources said on Sunday.

Rahim Sher told Daudzai police that his son Fazal Sher had gone out of his house on Saturday morning and the next day his bullet-riddled body was found at Mewra locality.

A case has been registered against unknown murderers.

An unclaimed body of a 40-year-old man was found at Budho Samarbagh, in the jurisdiction of Faqirabad police station, on Sunday. Police have sent the bullet-ridden body of the man to the mortuary at Khyber Medical College and registered an FIR against unknown killers.

Laiq, 17, son of Lal Mohammad, was kidnapped from Waliabad area on main Shamshatu Road by a group of armed men on Sunday. Lal Mohammad told Ormar police that his son was kidnapped allegedly by the tribesmen of Malagori area in Mohmand Agency.

In another incident, unknown armed persons snatched a motorbike (KCA-6169) from Haji Dost Mohammad, son of Pir Mohammad, at gunpoint in Academy Town area of Pishtakhara on Sunday. They also snatched Rs6,000 from Haji Dost Mohammad.
