Pakistan hockey manager dies

LAHORE, May 10: Pakistan hockey team manager,Lt Col (retd) Shahid Jaffery, died of cardiac arrest on Saturday.

Jaffery, 56, was admitted to the hospital a couple of days ago after complaining heartache.

Jaffery who left behind a widow and three children to mourn his untimely death represented Pakistan in 1971-2.

His funeral procession will be taken out from his residence House No 70-1, Lalazar Colony, Mazhar Qayyum Road Rawalpindi tomorrow and he will be laid to rest in Army Graveyard Rawalpindi at 11.am.—APP
