LANDI KOTAL, May 25: Khasadar force on Saturday seized huge quantity of explosive material at a check post in Jamrud.

Jamrud assistant political agent Jahangir Azam Wazir said that the khasadar force recovered 1,350 kilograms of explosive material from a vehicle during search at Bhagyiari check post.

He said that three suspected men aboard the vehicle were arrested and shifted to an unknown location for investigation.

Mr Wazir said that checking of vehicles had been intensified after a surge in armed attacks against Nato containers on the Peshawar-Torkhum road, mostly in Jamrud tehsil.—Correspondent
