Owner of CD shop killed in Quetta hand grenade attack

QUETTA: Unknown assailants lobbed a hand grenade at a shop on Quetta’s Sariab Road on Friday killing its owner, DawnNews reported.

The shop which dealt in CDs was located near the Awami petrol pump on Sariab Road.

The owner of the shop who was initially injured in the attack was taken to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

The proprietor was a resident of Quetta’s Ittehad Colony located on the provincial capital’s Kirani Road.

After the attack, the assailants managed to escape from the scene.
