GUJRANWALA, May 9: The local Anti-Terrorism Court No 2 will start the murder case hearing of PPP city president Chaudhry Khalid Humayun and his two guards from May 24 at the district jail, Gujrat.

While the accused involved in the murder case were also shifted to Gujrat jail here on Friday.

The PPP city president and his two guards were shot dead by their rivals over a murder enmity some eight months ago on the Sheikhupura Road. The police had already arrested main accused Saqib Siddique and Asif Siddique, who are brothers. The other accused, Muhammad Kamal, Sabir and Muhammad Shafi detained in Gujranwala jail were also shifted to Gujrat.

The hearing of the case is being conducted in Gujrat jail due to security reason.
