ABBOTTABAD, Dec 9: The police seized 600 bottles of locally-made liquor from a car and arrested two persons on Sunday.

The police, on a tip-off that liquor would be smuggled into Abbottabad, blocked the main road and signalled a car to stop, but it sped away.

After a brief chase, the police forced the car (PR-8107) to stop, seized 600 bottles of liquor from it and arrested two persons, while their accomplice escaped.
