ISLAMABAD, July 22 The president of Pakistan Boxing Federation, Doda Khan Bhutto, on Wednesday stated that secretary of the federation, Akram Khan, has not been removed from the post.

In a statement, he said that in the recent Executive Council meeting all the affiliated units of the federation not only expressed satisfaction over performance of Akram but also unanimously endorsed his secretaryship.

He added that the Executive Council instead removed Zaffar Zuberi as chairman of the federation and any step by Zuberi would now be deemed violation of the constitution and rules.—APP
