KARACHI, Feb 18 Beaconhouse School Jubilee Campus and hosts Habib Public School stormed into the final of the fourth HPS Inter-school basketball tournament by defeating their respective opponents in the two pre-finals at the latter's premises on Thursday.

Shariq Dhanani starred for Beaconhouse as they carved out a 46-38 victory over DA Public School O' Levels. The winners led 23-8 at half time.

Shariq alone contributed 34 points in his team's success while Basil Khan scored the remaining 12 points.

In the other encounter, a low-scoring affair, Habib Public School edged past Bay View Academy 33-21.

Hammad Saeed was the principal scorer with 23 while Raas Siddiqui scored 7 for the losers.
