SL manager suspended

COLOMBO, Feb 13: Sri Lanka manager Charith Senanayake has been suspended pending a hearing by cricket authorities into three undisclosed charges.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC)’s statement on Wednesday doesn’t specify the charges but says Senanayake has been sent a letter detailing the suspension without pay.

The SLC recently criticised Senanayake and former captain Mahela Jayawardene of writing to media over a dispute with the cricket board.—AP
