Moenjodaro airport

Published December 20, 2012

IF someone has time to go through history, he would know that Moenjodaro Airport was established to facilitate tourists visiting the ruins of Moenjodaro and its museum.

It was also to facilitiate the people of Larkana, Dadu and Kambar-Shahddadkot districts.

In the early 1970s till the 1980s/1990s, PIA used to fly morning and evening flights every day.

At present, PIA flies evening flights, making landings and takeoffs during sunset only.

This makes it difficult for people to reach their homes in Larkana, Dadu and Shahdadkot before midnight, as they have to travel by road which can take up to three hours.

Will the PIA please do something about it as soon as possible?
