Causes of terrorism

Published November 7, 2012

THE horrendous bomb explosion incident in which many people were killed at the shrine of Baba Sahib in Nowshehra has once again proved that target-hardening strategy to control terrorist attacks  especially in KP is not working.

Target-hardening always leads to displacement of crime/terror acts. Terrorism is too complex a problem to be left to law-enforcement and security agencies. The government needs to identify deep-rooted causes of terrorism in the country.
