THIS is apropos of the letter ‘Misery of private sector employees’ (May 27) by Tariq Hussain Khan. The government is only focussing on increasing salaries of public sector employees in every budget. On the contrary, a labourer or a poor private sector employee who works his finger to the bone all the day in order to get food for his family, is deprived of even Rs6,000 per month.

As a matter of fact, many people have started adopting illegal ways to fulfil their demands. It is my request to the government to provide enough money, say Rs15,000, to every private sector worker so that they are also able to feed their family members.
