‘Ho Yaqeen’

Published July 22, 2012

AFTER viewing the promo for the third episode of ‘Ho Yaqeen’, I felt that activities like Dr Parveen’s bear testimony to this simple but valuable principle that hope, optimism and conviction are a few things that can change lives no matter what the circumstances are.

The promo features Dr Parveen taking the initiative of rescuing poor children of Peshawar from a childhood depressed with drug abuse and addiction, towards a future secured by education, support and nurturing.

Dr Parveen and her team are actively looking for such children on the streets of Peshawar, motivating them to opt for a better life, helping and guiding them throughout the rehabilitation process and making them realise the importance of a healthy drug-free life.

The documentary is an inspiration for all those who have lost belief and hope in Pakistan. It shows how sincerity and the passion to solve your problems can bring about a positive change in you and how it can actually make life better for you and the people around you.

I think such acts of bravery and generosity are sure to take Pakistan on the road to happiness and success.
