Scenes from the Lahore Railway Station attack

A bomb planted inside a bag went off close to the Business Express waiting lounge at the Lahore Railway Station late Tuesday, killing a porter and a police constable and injuring at least 30 others. Rescue workers, police officials and media representatives arrived at the site of the attack soon after. The injured were shifted to Ganga Ram, Mayo and Services hospitals in Lahore, Rescue 1122 officials said. – Photos by AFP, APP and Online

"areen said he was satisfied with the security measures in place at the station and said the police were trying to investigate how the bag managed to get through despite so many scanners." Ive been through those scanners with bags, trolley bags a hundred times and never was I questioned what was in the bags. Never did I hear a beep too from the Scanners.
