LAHORE: A leader of the PML-N, Shaukat Rana, was burnt alive in the area of Kot Radha Kishan in Kasur on Saturday night, DawnNews reported.
He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
According to the details, leader of PML-N Changa Manga, Rana was sleeping in his residence where unknown persons set ablaze his bed.
Police has launched an investigation and collected evidence from the crime scene.
No one has been arrested so far and the police have still not stated if the crime was committed due to personal rivalry or political enmity.
