Of missing truck

Published October 28, 2011

THIS is apropos of the news item ‘Truck with Obama’s presidential podiums stolen’ (Oct 19). The news was a very embarrassing one as the cargo of one of the world’s most powerful presidents is not expected to be handled so carelessly.

Apart from this, one may wonder how come such an event occurred in a country which has great concerns over the safety of other countries’ nuclear assets. Pakistan has a most secured nuclear infrastructure. However, we, the Pakistanis, believe it is time the world started taking care of its own possessions.
