ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani ordered an investigation on Tuesday on the assassination attempt on the Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) which wounded him seriously.

The prime minister also condemned the deadly attempt against the AJK's Chief Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal near Muzaffarabad.

Earlier on Tuesday evening, unknown armed attackers shot and injured the AJK Chief Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal while he was walking in a park on a campus located near Muzaffarabad city.

The CJ Mughal was rushed to Hospital for emergency medical assistance. The additional SSP confirmed the incident and said that all exits routes of the area were sealed.
