Collegiate basketball

KARACHI, Nov 30 The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) Inter-collegiate boys' basketball championship 2010-11 gets into action at Arambagh court on Wednesday with teams of 29 local colleges participating.

The teams have been divided into two groups and top two teams from each will qualify for the final which will be played on Dec 8. The groups matches will be played on knockout basis.

Meanwhile, seven matches will be played on the opening day.

Wednesday's fixtures

Pakistan Steel Cadet College v PECHS College at 9.30am; Shaheen Public College v Government Delhi College at 10.30am; Al Hamd College v S.M.Arts and Commerce College at 11.30am; D.A College v Government Degree Boys College Asifabad at 12.30pm; Delhi Science/Commerce College v Aga Khan Higher Secondary School at 1.30pm; Sirajuddullah College v Islamia Arts/Commerce College at 2.30pm; National College v Fatimiyah College at 3.30pm.
