PESHAWAR Airstrikes in central Orakzai agency killed 11 suspected militants on Saturday while four of their hideouts in the areas of Saiful dara and Shaikh Khan were also destroyed.

 

Earlier on Friday, the security forces killed at least 20 militants as the operation continued in Orakzais Mir Ghari area.

 

The month long operation in the agency has resulted in the killing of more than 600 militants along with 18 security personnel, including a colonel.

 

The security forces have successfully cleared most parts of lower Orakzai and have consolidated their positions in the areas of Hasankhel, Kalya, Ferozkhel, Anjani, Storikhel and Hasmatkhel. — DawnNews
