PESHAWAR, April 24: PML-N joint secretary Peshawar division Fazal Hussain Orkazai resigned from his party and joined the Qaumi Watan Party.

He made the announcement at a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday. Accompanied by a number of his supporters and district president of QWP youth wing Peshawar Amanat Ali, Mr Orkazai said that he was disappointed with the performance of PML-N during the last five years.

He said the party had failed to raise voice for the rights of Pakhtuns and that was why he had resigned.

Mr Orakzai alleged that PML-N had totally ignored ideological workers in distribution of tickets for the next general elections. “I always worked for the party sincerely but after the indifferent attitude of the provincial leadership, I decided to quit PML-N and join QWP because it is working for the rights and welfare of Pakhtuns,” he said. — Bureau Report
