RAWALPINDI: The bodies of three more soldiers were recovered from the Gayari sector of Siachen on Monday bringing the total number of bodies recovered so far to 91.

According to a spokesman of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), 140 soldiers, including some civilians, of the Northern Light Infantry Battalion came under an avalanche early Saturday morning (April 7, 2012) in the Gayari sector near Skardu.

Since then, over 300 soldiers and 50 engineering plants have been employed at the site leading the search operation.
