Two teenagers drown

GUJAR KHAN: Two teenage boys drowned in the Ogha Houn Dam near Gujar Khan on Friday afternoon, the police said.

According to Assistant Superintendent of police (ASP) Gujar Khan Syed Danial Hassan Kazmi, the police got the tip that two boys identified as Shazeb and Irfan had drowned in the Ogha Houn Dam near Guliana town of Gujar Khan.

According to the officer, a group of youngmen were enjoying a picnic near the lake when one of them slipped into the water while another jumped in to rescue his friend, and he also drowned.

According to eyewitnesses, the third one had also jumped into the water to rescue, and he could have been saved by the people around.
