RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Post Director General Dr Naseer Ahmad Khan on Tuesday said automated teller machine (ATM) service was being started in post offices.

He was speaking at a ceremony held to distribute motorcycles among postmen.

The director general said steps were being taken to revamp the postal service and integrate it with all requirements of the new era.

“Express Mail Service (EMS) Plus service has been launched for 150 countries for delivery in 72 hours to facilitate the citizens.”

“The provision of motorcycles to the postmen will continue and will be accelerated.

Soon more motorcycles will be distributed across the country due to which services, speed and accuracy of postmen will improve significantly,” he said.
