Minor dies in jubilation fire

KASUR: A minor boy died and another was injured in jubilation fire in Garay Singhwala village on Sunday.

According to police, Yasir Ali from Lahore fired in jubilation at the wedding of his relative, Sajjad Ahmed, in Garay Singhwala village.

Resultantly, Muhammad Umar, 12, and Abu Bakar, 10, were injured and rushed to local hospital. However, Umar died on the way to hospital. Suspect Ali managed to escape. Police were looking into the matter.
